Keeping You Safe

Neuromodulation Clinic – ECT/TMS

In June 2019, the TMS and ECT Clinics changed their name to the Neuromodulation Clinic – ECT/TMS to better reflect both services we provide: Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). Although we have some changes to our name, website and campus signage, both services have been co-located for several years, and these services will remain the same.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Therapy

The latest in depression treatment, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy is a non-invasive, non-drug outpatient therapy. TMS therapy is one of the most technologically advanced depression treatments available. This non-invasive, outpatient therapy is FDA cleared and has helped thousands of depression patients who have not received adequate results from antidepressants.

At Pine Rest, receiving treatment is convenient, and our skilled and experienced psychiatrists and nursing staff ensure that you feel comfortable during your visit and receive the best possible care. Treatments are given under a psychiatrist’s supervision while you remain awake and alert. Since no anesthesia is used, you may drive yourself to and from your appointments.

Electroconvulsive Therapy

Pine Rest has been providing Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) for over 50 years with the most current technology and safety. The clinic enables individuals who suffer from various mental health problems to receive ECT without requiring a hospital stay.
