Forensic psychiatrists are licensed medical doctors (M.D. or D.O.) and forensic psychologists are licensed clinical psychologists (Ph.D. or Psy.D) who have completed their doctoral training along with additional specialty training and ongoing continuing education related to various interfaces of mental health and the law.
