Career Experience: One year as an attending on a detox/dual diagnosis unit.
Why I chose Pine Rest: I chose Pine Rest because of the great clinical experience and the variety of patients and units. The Mother and Baby unit was something unique about the program and great as I am interested in women’s medicine. The staff are all very welcoming and extremely supportive! They really care about the patients and want to support the community. Not to mention we have incredible attendings who love to teach and really care about the residents!
Professional interests: Geriatric population, developmentally disabled population, women’s medicine, college mental health.
Other interests: I enjoy photography, eating at local places and trying new food, dogs (especially rescue dogs), going to the lake/beach whenever I can, interior design.
