Why I chose Pine Rest: Pine Rest felt like a place where I would learn a lot and enjoy the process along the way. The campus is beautiful, the other residents are friendly and supportive, and there are opportunities to learn from experts in the psychiatric subspecialties.
Other interests: I enjoy trips to Lake Michigan, reading, outdoor exercise, and yoga. I do a lot of stroller walking through my neighborhood with my baby these days. We love living in Grand Rapids!
Professional or Clinical Interests: Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Public Health.
Master’s: East Tennessee State University, MPH in Epidemiology.
