Why I chose Pine Rest: First, I was impressed by the depth of training opportunities. Also, touring the campus it seemed like the staff genuinely enjoyed their jobs. Most importantly, I’m a woman of faith and I was curious to see how a residency program could provide an environment to support that.
Other Interests: I enjoy walking or hiking on some of the local trails. I also love a good concert, and there are some great venues around Grand Rapids.
Professional or Clinical Interests: Public & Community Psychiatry, Global Mental Health.
Graduate School: Johns Hopkins University, M.S. in Biotechnology/Biodefense.
