- Why I chose Pine Rest
- I really like how Pine Rest is a stand-alone psychiatric hospital and offers many excellent educational opportunities that are harder to find elsewhere. All the faculty and residents were extremely friendly and welcoming on interview day, and it seemed like they genuinely enjoyed working with the program. I saw myself being very happy at this program for the next few years.
- Hobbies/Interests
- Reading (non-medical books), basketball, chess, long walks, martial arts, game nights, ancient history, traveling, spending time with family and close friends.
- Fun fact
- The three places I want to visit most are the Pyramids at Giza, the Valley of the Kings, and the Great Wall of China.
- Professional or Clinical Interests
- I am interested in psychotherapy and want this to be a central aspect of my practice, and am also considering pursuing a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry.
