We help adults who need immediate support for mental health and substance use issues. Our psychiatric team provides a quick assessment to determine the level of care needed and if any medications should be changed or prescribed, education about the diagnosis, and an after-visit care plan.

Most commercial insurance, Medicare and Medicaid health plans accepted.
If you have Medicaid, please call ahead. Some plans require authorization for services.

The Psychiatric Urgent Care Center is located on the Pine Rest 68th Street Campus. Turn onto the main entrance and follow the blue signs to Building E. Please use entrance E1.
By Bus
The Rapid Route 10 stops on our campus across from the Retreat Clinic (Building B).

• Symptoms are mild to moderate
• Daily activities are manageable
• Waiting for scheduled appointment seems reasonable
• The individual is willing to seek treatment
Visit a Community Mental Health (CMH) Access Center
• Individuals with Medicaid health plans who are in crisis or who need intensive services
• Mandatory for individuals with Medicaid seeking inpatient hospitalization, partial hospitalization or residential substance use disorder treatment
