Same-day in-person psychiatric assessments for ages 18+ | Virtual appointments available

We help adults who need immediate support for mental health and substance use issues. Our psychiatric team provides a quick assessment to determine the level of care needed and if any medications should be changed or prescribed, education about the diagnosis, and an after-visit care plan.

The center is designed to provide immediate assessment and treatment for people experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms who cannot wait for routine outpatient intervention.

Payment

Most commercial insurance, Medicare and Medicaid health plans accepted.

If you have Medicaid, please call ahead. Some plans require authorization for services.

The Psychiatric Urgent Care Center is located on the Pine Rest 68th Street Campus. Turn onto the main entrance and follow the blue signs to Building E. Please use entrance E1.

The Rapid Route 10 stops on our campus across from the Retreat Clinic (Building B).
