MyCHart at Pine Rest
Manage Your Health Information Online 24/7
MyChart is a secure, private online tool that provides access to your Pine Rest electronic health record, your treatment team and more! Using MyChart, you can:
- Send and receive secure messages with your treatment team
- Access your medical records
- Request prescription refills
- Request appointments
- View past and upcoming appointments
- Look up follow-up instructions from a past appointment
- Sign up for paperless billing
- Make secure payments
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
MyChart is a free service offered to our patients.
MyChart accounts can be established by anyone age 12 years or older who is a Pine Rest patient, or the patient’s parents, family members, or legal representatives.
For Computers and Laptops
Sign up for MyChart on your computer here.
For Smartphones and Tablets
Download and install the MyChart app to your phone or tablet and search for Pine Rest.
You’ll be asked whether you have an activation code.
- If your care provider gave you one, click on “I already have an activation code.”
- If your provider did not give you a code, or if the code expired, just click on “I do not have an activation code.”
Then follow the prompts to finish setting up your account.

Yes, current MyChart users can download the MyChart mobile application, available at no cost.
The MyChart® mobile application is currently available on the Apple® App StoreSM and the Android Market.
Yes, your care team will be able to send secure messages regarding a future appointment, follow-up care, and additional instructions.
The Message feature enables you to send a secure message regarding a non-urgent medical concern to your current care team and receive a response within three business days.
Your current care team is the team of providers you have seen in the last year.
IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING AN URGENT MEDICAL PROBLEM, CALL 911 OR OUR HOSPITAL CONTACT CENTER AT 800.678.5500 IMMEDIATELY.
Currently, you will only be able to request an appointment. This feature allows you to select your preferred dates and times, or request the first available appointment. An appointment scheduler will book the appointment for you and send a secure message in MyChart with the appointment details.
Yes, MyChart will allow you to request a renewal for current medications prescribed by your Pine Rest care team. Every attempt will be made to process prescription renewals within 48 hours of receipt during normal business hours. If you submit your request on a weekend or holiday, it will be received the following business day.
You will need to provide the following information through MyChart:
- Your preferred pharmacy.
- The number of pills (30 or 90 day supply).
- The number of refills for the prescription.
- The method by which the renewal should be processed (i.e., should it be called into the pharmacy or mailed to your home).
- Any new allergies that you have experienced.
In some cases, we may need to call and confirm more information regarding your prescription.
Your Health Summary contains the record of health issues and diagnoses for which you are actively being treated. If you have questions or concerns regarding the health issues listed, please discuss this at your next visit with your care team.

To allow a non-Pine Rest care provider access to your information, you will need to complete a Release of Information form. This form can be filled out in person at your next visit or by sending our Health Information Management Team a message through MyChart.
We will soon have the form available in the documents section of your MyChart account.
Yes, the Pine Rest MyChart tool makes it quick, secure and easy to pay your bill online. Through MyChart, you can also set up a payment plan and automatically pay your medical bills each month. You may also use the online bill pay feature for family members and anyone for whom you may be a court-appointed guardian.
If you choose not to sign up through MyChart, you can still pay Pine Rest bills online at pinerest.org/pay-my-bill. You will need the following information:
- patient name
- patient date of birth
- phone number
- and account number (optional)
MyChart users can add their loved ones to their personal MyChart account, which allows:
- Parents or court-appointed guardians of minor children (age 17 years and younger) to manage their healthcare online
- Court-appointed guardians of dependent adults to manage their healthcare online
- Family members or caregivers of adults who provide legal authorization to manage their healthcare online
You do not have to be a current Pine Rest patient or MyChart user in order to access your loved ones’ information. To access a loved one’s account, please complete and submit the MyChart Proxy Request form to your Pine Rest Clinic.
