August 26, 2021

Pine Rest is a leading sponsor for The Red Project’s International Overdose Awareness Day event on August 31, 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.

The event will take place at The Red Project Office, 1270 E. Laketon, Muskegon and will feature a BBQ, rock painting to commemorate loved ones lost to overdose, and group creation of a Living Story Board dedicated to the lives of those impacted by the overdose crisis.

Attendees are asked to bring a rock for the rock painting (art supplies will be provided) and a photo, story, 2D artwork, poem or similar for the Living Story Board project.

Pine Rest staff will be on hand throughout the event to answer questions and distribute free materials on substance use disorder and recovery. Look for the table marked with the Pine Rest logo.
