On Saturday, March 21, 2026, our campus was filled with energy, laughter and an overwhelming sense of community as families, neighbors and friends joined us for the Community Open House celebrating the grand opening of the Pine Rest Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health. What a day and what a turnout! We are deeply grateful to everyone who came to explore the space, meet our team and celebrate this milestone with us.
A Celebration Filled with Joy
From the moment the doors opened at 10 a.m., the building buzzed with excitement. Children and families filled the halls on a scavenger hunt adventure, enjoying arts and crafts, face painting, animal yoga, making healthy snacks and more while exploring the center’s treehouse‑inspired design, created to make children and teens feel safe, supported and welcomed.
Therapy dogs Sully and Merry Puppins made new friends and brought smiles to visitors of all ages. Staff members loved sharing the vision behind the new space and connecting with so many community members who care deeply about children’s mental health.
A Space Built for Kids, Teens and Families
This new center represents a major step forward in expanding access to compassionate, specialized behavioral health care for young people in Michigan. Seeing families walk through the halls—laughing, learning, and imagining the possibilities—was a powerful reminder of why this work matters.
Your presence made the day not just a grand opening, but a true celebration of hope, healing and community partnership.
Thank You for Your Support
We are sincerely grateful to everyone who attended, volunteered, spread the word or simply cheered us on from afar. Your support fuels our mission and strengthens our commitment to serving children and families for generations to come.
As you browse the photos from the event, we hope you feel the same joy and excitement we did. This center belongs to the community—and we’re honored to grow alongside you.
Here’s to a bright future, together.
