February 23, 2024 is Thank a Resident (and Fellow) Day! We invite you to join us in celebrating this annual recognition by the Gold Humanism Honor Society to pay tribute to resident and fellow contributions to humanistic care.
On this day, health care teams in medical institutions across the country participate in expressing their appreciation of physician residents and fellows. We here at Pine Rest are extremely thankful to our residents and fellows for the compassionate care they provide to our patients, for their service as mentors and as role models for students – all accomplished while completing the requirements of their final years of training.
We appreciate all 53 engaged, thoughtful, intelligent, and determined residents and fellows at Pine Rest for their dedication and commitment to their patients and the community. Our Residency & Fellowship Program currently consists of:
- 42 general Residency and MiDOCS Rural Track residents
- 8 Child and Adolescent fellows
- 2 Forensic fellows:
- 1 Geriatric fellow:
We couldn’t be more grateful for the important role all of our residents and fellows play in helping us expand access to psychiatric care in Michigan!
