Join us for ‘Rewiring: Conversations to Boost Your Mental Wellness’, a series of insightful and inspiring 30-minute online conversations led by Pine Rest clinicians!

The Pine Rest Telehealth Clinic is pleased to invite the community to a series of free virtual conversations focused on mental wellness and resilience, led by licensed clinicians. The series of ten sessions, each 30 minutes in length, will offer practical tools and expert insights on topics such as stress management and burnout, mindfulness and self-care, substance use, online safety for kids, and more.

Whether you’re seeking personal growth or professional insights, these expert-led discussions will provide valuable knowledge and support. Sessions will be held online over a two-week period beginning June 9 through June 18. Participants are welcome to attend any or all sessions based on their interests.

Rewiring: Conversations to Boost Your Mental Wellness

SESSION 1: Effective Stress Management | June 9, 6:30 – 7:00 PM
Presented by Kristine Wilmoth, MCSP, Limited Licensed Psychologist

Caring for our physical, mental and emotional well-being is essential to functioning at our best. In this 30-minute session, Kristine Wilmoth will share practical strategies to help you effectively manage the stress you face in everyday life.

SESSION 2: Practical Strategies for Self-Care | June 10, 6:30 – 7:00 PM
Presented by Jenna Brackett, LMSW

Maintaining your well-being—physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually—is essential to thriving as an individual, partner, parent and employee. In this 30-minute session, Jenna Brackett offers simple steps you can take to enhance your self-care.

Jenna Brackett is an outpatient therapist at the Pine Rest Telehealth Clinic. She is a fully licensed clinical social worker and has been practicing therapy since 2014. She has experience working with community mental health, foster care, parenting, and at-risk youth.

SESSION 3: Mental Wellbeing & the LGBTQ+ Community | June 11, 12:00 – 12:30 PM
Presented by Grace Wenk, LMSW

Members of the LGBTQ+ community often encounter unique challenges that can affect their mental well-being. Grace Wenk explores these experiences and highlights how fostering inclusive, welcoming environments can support positive mental health.

Grace Wenk is an outpatient therapist at the Pine Rest Telehealth Clinic. With a passion for teaching, her expertise shines in individual clinical practice within diverse inpatient and outpatient settings. Grace is also an adjunct professor, leveraging her wealth of knowledge to educate and inspire future professionals in the field.

Her diverse expertise includes public health education, corporate training and mental health coaching. SESSION 5: Conversations About Substance Use | June 12, 6:30 – 7:00 PM

In this 30-minute session, Mariah DeYoung equips you with tools to recognize the signs of substance use disorder and confidently engage in supportive, solution-focused dialogue.

She is a seasoned professional with two decades of invaluable experience in mental health and substance use disorders. As the director of Pine Rest’s Substance Use Services for Outpatient & Recovery Services, Mariah’s leadership has been pivotal in shaping effective and compassionate programs.

SESSION 6: Guiding Children in a Digital World | June 16, 12:00 – 12:30 PM

Presented by Allison Kisule, LMSW

Today’s children and adolescents have access to more technology than ever before. Join Allison Kisule in this 30-minute session to discover how you can partner with the young people in your life to help them use technology in safe, healthy and constructive ways.

Allison Kisule is an outpatient therapist at the Pine Rest Telehealth Clinic where she sees clients age 3-70. She has experience working in child welfare and the inpatient hospital setting. She teaches a popular parenting/caregiver class called Nurtured Heart Approach® that is available throughout the year at several Pine Rest clinics as well as online.
