Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services recently received $398,825 in additional Telehealth Program funding from the Federal Communication Commission. The funds will be used to upgrade telecommunications services equipment and ensure Pine Rest can continue meeting clients where they are, even after the pandemic is over.
“The demand for seems to remain high, and it doesn’t appear to be COVID-related anymore,” says Telehealth Clinic Manager Jean Holthaus, LISW, LMSW. “People have discovered it’s more convenient.”
This is the second round of telehealth funding provided to Pine Rest by the FCC.
