Through his leadership, Dr. Eastburg, who placed in the Notable Leaders in Healthcare category, continues to shape the future of behavioral health, ensuring accessibility and quality care.
Since 1991, Dr. Eastburg has dedicated his career at Pine Rest to helping expand behavioral healthcare and psychiatric access in Michigan through endeavors such as the Pine Rest / MSU Psychiatry Residency & Fellowships program, Telehealth, Psychiatric Urgent Care Center, and implementation of the Epic electronic health record.
Dr. Eastburg is currently spearheading the development of West Michigan’s first dedicated children’s behavioral health hospital, the Pine Rest Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health, scheduled to open in 2026.
