Pine Rest is the grateful recipient of two recent grants, courtesy of the Michigan Health Endowment Fund and the Hattie Hannah Keeney Trust.
The grants, for $500,000 and $94,100 respectively, will go a long way toward supporting our vital work with children and adolescents, as well as offer funding for additional staff training and certification opportunities.
The Michigan Health Endowment Fund award will be used to:
- Support projects that focus on care integration and workforce development, in our programs that treat children and adolescents.
- Offer training to Pine Rest staff in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and the Nurtured Heart Approach®.
- Certify Pine Rest psychiatric technicians as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) by training clinicians from both Pine Rest and Spectrum Health in integrated care, and supporting loan forgiveness for 20 full time employees.
The Hattie Hannah Keeney Trust award will be used to:
- Provide much needed case management services to adolescents in our Traverse City Clinic.
A special thank you to the Pine Rest Foundation grants team for supporting our mission through their fundraising efforts.
