Since opening its doors on April 6, 2026, West Michigan’s first Ronald McDonald House (RMH) Family Room® has already provided a place of comfort and support for more than 100 family members of children receiving care at the Pine Rest Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health.
Designed as an extension of Ronald McDonald House Charities West Michigan, this 1,000 square foot room gives families a chance to rest, recharge, and find moments of calm while remaining just steps away from their child.
Family Room amenities are all offered at no cost and include:
- Comfortable lounge area
- Workstations and reservable technology, such as iPads and device chargers
- Children’s play area equipped with books, games, puzzles and quiet toys
- Kitchen stocked with snacks and beverages
- A quiet room
- Private restroom, stocked with toiletries
The Ronald McDonald House Family Room is currently open inside the Pine Rest Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
