
We are pleased to announce that Pine Rest President and CEO Dr. Mark Eastburg, has been named one of Crain’s 2023 Notable Leaders in Behavioral Health.
This recognition honors leaders in the field “who provide high-quality, whole-person care, work with integrated care teams to provide services to people with issues related to mental health, substance use and developmental disabilities.” Nominees are selected for their career accomplishments, track record of success and contributions to their industry and the community at large.
As CEO of Pine Rest since 2006, Dr. Eastburg has dedicated his career to helping expand behavioral healthcare and psychiatric access in Michigan through endeavors such as the Pine Rest / MSU Psychiatry Residency & Fellowships program, Telehealth, implementation of the Epic electronic health record, launch of a Psychiatric Urgent Care Center, and is now leading efforts to build the state’s first-ever dedicated pediatric behavioral health center, slated to open on the Pine Rest campus in Grand Rapids in 2025.
