Spring 2023 Drug Take Back Day Yields Highest Collections to Date

May 8, 2023

Grand Rapids’ Drug Take Back Day on April 22, 2023 saw its highest yield yet! A total of 584 lbs of unused/unwanted/expired prescription medications was collected from locations at Priority Health, Corewell Health and the Kent Country Health Department for safe and secure disposal. That’s more than double what was collected during our last Drug Take Back Day on October 29, 2022 (pictured above).

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to this successful effort to help keep our communities safe and healthy!
