Nurtured Heart Approach (NHA)® Course Returns to Pine Rest

February 27, 2023

The Nurtured Heart Approach (NHA)® parenting course is coming to Pine Rest this spring! Allison Brower, a licensed social worker who specializes in working with children, adolescents and their support systems, will lead the six-session course that implements a methodology which “empowers” parents and caregivers, and fosters a more positive relationship between adults and children.

The class is available in two formats: virtual, beginning Tuesday April 11 from 6:00 – 7:30 PM, and in-person beginning Friday April 14 from 12:00 – 1:30 PM at the Pine Rest Caledonia Clinic.

The Nurtured Heart Approach® is open to parents and other caregivers, including legal guardians, relatives and foster parents, as well as educators and other professionals who work with children. All sessions will be led by Certified NHA® Trainer Allison Brower, LMSW.

Cost for the course is $180 per household for the entire series of classes including workbook. For more details and to register, visit at pinerest.org/NHA.
