Objectives:
- Describe the cultural, clinical, and commercial rise of testosterone use in the U.S., including the TRT boom, clinic models, and psychiatric implications of supraphysiologic testosterone exposure.
- Recognize muscle dysmorphia as a BDD subtype—its core features, epidemiology, and its relationship to anabolic steroid/TRT use and mood/anxiety disorders.
- Apply evidence-based endocrine/urology and psychiatric best practices to: screen for hypogonadism, use validated tools for MD and implement multidisciplinary management.
