Psychological Consultation Center

6500 Byron Center Ave SW, Suite 300
Byron Center, MI 49315

The Psychological Consultation Center specializes in assessing the relationship between behavior and brain functioning. Clinicians use state-of-the-art tests and a comprehensive clinical history that generally includes an interview, discussion with family members and a review of school and medical records. The goal is to provide an in-depth understanding of a person’s strengths and weaknesses that can yield helpful recommendations for short and long-term treatment planning.

Assessments for children, adults and older adults are provided through a team of health care professionals including psychologists, neuropsychologists and a psychiatrist. We work closely with school systems, family doctors, and other health care organizations to ensure evaluation results are used to obtain the best possible intervention or treatment.

Our Forensic Psychiatric and Psychological Services staff provide evaluations on disability requests, fitness for duty, personal injury, medical negligence, guardianship and testamentary capacity. Criminal services include competency to stand trial, legal sanity, child abuse, sentencing and witness competency.
