Same-day in-person behavioral health assessments for 6 -17 years old

The Pine Rest Pediatric Psychiatric Urgent Care provides same-day behavioral health assessments for children and teens age 6-17 years old with severe psychiatric symptoms, suicidal thoughts and/or behavioral crises.

Our team of pediatric-focused licensed mental health therapists, psychiatric providers and medical assistants will:

• Evaluate your child and the reason for the urgent concern. In some instances, we may discuss medications.
• Help you create a safety plan, which will include parent and/or caregiver support.
• In some instances, we may be able to offer other treatment options, such as inpatient, partial hospitalization or outpatient treatment at Pine Rest or additional services in the community.
