Patient Assistance Fund
No one should have to choose whether or not to get care for depression, anxiety, marital difficulties, dementia, stress, or addictions because of the cost of treatment.
Thanks to a generous and compassionate community, financial assistance is available through the Pine Rest Patient Assistance Fund (PAF).
The PAF is available to individuals and families in our community who come to Pine Rest for care but have limited resources to pay for treatment. The number of people we can help each year depends on the generosity of our donors.
100% of gifts are used to help reduce the cost of treatment for individuals and families with financial hardships.
Other Ways You Can Help
Besides making a personal gift, you can also help by:
- Promoting financial support of PAF from your family, friends, employer and faith community.
- Donating items to and shopping at the Rustic Market.
- Sharing your personal story of being helped through Pine Rest services to inspire others. Contact Dean Herried, Philanthropy Officer at 616.222.6345 or firstname.lastname@example.org if we may help to share your story.
Do you know someone who needs help? Anyone concerned about the cost of a patient’s care may ask Pine Rest’s account manager or the outpatient clinic manager about applying for financial help. Pine Rest looks at each request in terms of the patient’s insurance coverage, financial resources and other criteria.
