Hope for Patients with Treatment Resistant Depression (Virtual Pearls for Primary Care)


Some patients continue to experience difficult depression symptoms despite standard treatment interventions.  Dr. Louis Nykamp will conduct an overview of additional treatment options for these patients including Ketamine Infusion Therapy and Brain Stimulation Therapies, such as Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).

Dr. Nykamp is the Chief Medical Information Officer at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services.  He is the Geriatric Psychiatric Fellowship Director as well as the Medical Director of the Neuromodulation Clinic at Pine Rest.


One CME credit for medical professionals and one CE credit for Social Workers will be provided.

An email will be sent after the event that contains a link to your specific continuing education evaluation.  Once the completed evaluation is submitted and received, your continuing education certificate will be emailed automatically.
