Virtual Grand Rounds: “OCD 101- From Safety Behaviors to Sub-Types”

Presentation:

In this presentation we will review what OCD is, how it is maintained, the best treatments available for it, and how to identify it based on the numerous subtypes there are.  OCD is the doubting disorder, and it runs on fears of uncertainty. OCD drives people with it to keep feeding it with compulsions under the promise that one day OCD could be satisfied, but it never is. From contamination to pedophilia and from harm to blasphemy, OCD knows no limits to get someone to do its bidding of constant compulsions.
