Evidence-Based Approaches to Treating Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa

This presentation provides an evidence‑based overview of treatment approaches for anorexia nervosa (AN) and bulimia nervosa (BN). The presenter will underscore the importance of early intervention, careful medical monitoring, disposition, and the incorporation of psychotherapy and nutrition. The limited role of pharmacologic treatments will also be discussed.
