MORNING SESSION (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.): Active Threat Assessment
Many “Active Shooters” display early warning signs which often go unheeded. An organization thus loses a preventative opportunity to identify, assess and manage aggressive individuals who may pose a threat to the workplace, place of worship, or school. This program will discuss how to assess warning signs, manage threats and/or person of concern and strategies to reduce risk.
Guest check in: 8:30 a.m.
AFTERNOON SESSION (1 – 4 p.m.): Active Shooter Survival
The focus of this program is to assist organizations with “best practices” for managing threats and to develop strategies to prevent, prepare for, survive and recover from active shooter incidents and violence. Defensive and personal survival options and strategies will be discussed.
