Focus Group

Eating Disorders Focus Group

Pine Rest is in the planning phase for developing eating disorder services for children and teens as a part of the new Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health opening in 2026.

Nearly 15% of adolescents will develop an eating disorder by the age of 20.* At Pine Rest, we are developing treatment to significantly reduce that number. Our treatment approach will be founded on evidence-based research and experiences of those who lived with these disorders. If you or a loved one has received treatment for an eating disorder as an adolescent and would like to help inform our clinical design, we invite you to attend one of our upcoming focus groups.

*Rienecke, R. D. (2017) Family-based treatment of eating disorders in adolescents: current insights. Adolescent Health, Medicine, and Therapeutics, 8

We are seeking insights from...

  • Families or caregivers of individuals currently receiving treatment or had received treatment as an adolescent (18 years or younger)*
