Pine Rest Welcomes New Quality Director

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services is pleased to announce Patricia Kennedy as the new director of quality in hospital based services. 

As the director of quality, Kennedy will provide leadership to the quality department and insure that Pine Rest meets or exceeds all regulatory performance standards. Kennedy works in the hospital based services on Pine Rest’s main campus at 300 68th Street SE in Grand Rapids. She is a registered nurse and received national certification in healthcare quality.

Kennedy joins Pine Rest with previous experience at several mental health care facilities in roles such as director, manager and counselor. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in human ecology and family studies respectively from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich.

Kennedy is a part of a team that provides comprehensive acute inpatient care. The inpatient units are for persons who experience significant behavioral health issues. Care is available to children, adolescents, adults and older adults.
