Pine Rest Welcomes New Inpatient Physician

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services is pleased to welcome psychiatrist Raed Yousif, M.D. He works in hospital based services on Pine Rest’s main campus in the adult south unit as an inpatient physician.

Dr. Yousif received his medical degree from Baghdad University College of Medicine in Iraq. He completed his general psychiatry residency at Griffin Memorial Hospital in Norman, Okla., and his addiction fellowship at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich. He also received a master’s degree in basic medical sciences from Wayne State University.

Dr. Yousif is part of a team that provides comprehensive acute inpatient care. The inpatient units are for persons who experience significant behavioral health issues. Dr. Yousif treats adolescents, adults and older adults.
