Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services Zeeland Clinic is starting a community postpartum adjustment group. If new mothers are feeling overwhelmed, isolated or alone, have a lack of concentration or feelings of guilt, sadness or are having difficulty finding balance at home, this support group might be helpful.
The Pine Rest Zeeland Clinic Postpartum Adjustment Group is free of charge and meets the second and fourth Monday of every month at the Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital DeWitt Building entrance. Meetings are from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The group will be facilitated by Pine Rest Zeeland Clinic therapists and specialty trained nurses from Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital. This group is for mothers who would like an opportunity to talk with other women and ask questions in an environment that is supportive. The postpartum adjustment group will be led by clinicians and nurses who will be able to answer questions.
The postpartum adjustment group is offered through partnership with Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital and is underwritten by a grant from Howard Miller. For more information about the Postpartum Adjustment Group, call 616-741-3790 or visit www.pinerest.org/zeeland.
