Leisha J. Cuddihy, Ph.D., F.L.P., a fully licensed psychologist, has recently joined Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services in the behavioral medicine department. Her specialty is behavioral sleep medicine. She’s the only professional in Grand Rapids to offer these services.
Dr. Cuddihy received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Arizona, Tucson, Ariz. She trained with three of the top experts in behavioral sleep medicine in the United States. Most recently she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Mich., focusing on Behavioral Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Cuddihy sees patients at the Pine Rest Northeast Clinic at 3225 N. Evergreen Drive, Ste. 301, Grand Rapids. She provides a single-session assessment of a patient’s sleep problems, and if appropriate, provides brief cognitive-behavioral therapy treatments which are usually 4-8 sessions.
