An Estrangement Support Group is led by Clinical Social Worker Jim Vander May at Pine Rest’s Southwest Clinic. These support groups are held the second Monday of every month from 7 – 8:15 p.m.
Having an estranged child often leads to frustration, sadness and guilt. This professionally facilitated support group allows people to share their experiences of estrangement from adult children.
This group may help you deal with the frustration, sadness, and guilt that families often feel when an adult child won’t accept contact. The goal is to share, listen, and cope.
The meetings are free, however donations are accepted. The class will be held at the Pine Rest Southwest Clinic, 4211 Parkway Place, Suite 100, Grandville. To register, call (616) 222-3700.
