Pine Rest Foundation Welcomes Two Board Members

Pine Rest Foundation Executive Director Randall Johnson is pleased to announce Samantha Howell and Allen VanderLaan as new members to the Pine Rest Foundation Board of Governors. 

Samantha Howell is a business analyst at Amway Corporation. Among her many areas of expertise, Howell excels in human resources, public/community relations, sales and marketing. Howell also serves on the board of the Grand Rapids Ellington Academy of Arts & Technology.   

Allen VanderLaan is retired from Kent Companies, Inc, a family-owned business. He remains as chairman of the board for Kent Companies. He has an expertise in administration/management and real estate. VanderLaan is currently on the executive board of the Spartan Stores YMCA and chaired the building committee. Over the years he has been involved with numerous professional and church committees.
