Improving the Effectiveness of Clinical Supervision workshop will be held at Pine Rest on June 12. The main program for physicians, psychologists, social workers, nurses, therapists, care providers and interns, will run from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. A physicians-only breakfast, titled, ethics in clinical supervision, will begin the workshop from 7:15 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
Workshop participants will learn new techniques to maximize the effectiveness of clinical supervision, as well as explore ways to manage boundary issues in supervision and avoid ethical mistakes. All clinicians in behavioral health will benefit from attending.
Jane Campbell, Ph.D. will lead the seminar. Dr. Campbell is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Houston, Texas. She has led seminars on clinical supervision across the country and is well known for her sense of humor and her ability to provide participants with a substantial number of practical ideas and useful techniques for supervision.
The cost for the breakfast is $10, $50 for the presentation, and $60 for both. Lunch is included in the main session. Continuing education credits are available: the main presentation offers 5 CME and 5 social work credits, and the physician breakfast will provides 1 CME credit.
