DeMey Clinic at Pine Rest Community Services
The DeMey Clinic specializes in providing outpatient services to individuals with mental health or substance use disorders as well as those with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. In addition, the DeMey Clinic specializes in providing substance abuse services for individuals involved with the criminal justice system. The clinic has access to all of Pine Rest's resources, including experts in behavioral health, partial hospitalization, inpatient treatment for co-occurring disorders, and residential addictions treatment services.

The program is designed to provide high quality individual and group therapy for persons with mental illness and/or substance abuse disorders. The primary purpose of the program is to offer services that are designed to provide recovery to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders, as well as those with co-occurring disorders.
Utilizing the person-centered planning process, an individual plan of service is developed to meet the needs, desires, cultural background and natural supports of the person being served. Therapists use motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma focused care.
The criminal justice program is designed to support recovery by assisting the person served in establishing a substance and crime-free lifestyle. Therapists use assessment, individual and group therapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma focused care and Moral Reconation Therapy.

An individual receiving outpatient services at the DeMey Clinic can expect the following:
- A primary therapist trained in motivational interviewing and who is co-occurring and culturally competent.
- Thorough Assessment and Continuous Evaluation
- Development of a Person Centered Plan that upholds the values of Choice, Voice, Empowerment, Dignity and Respect, and Hope.
- Individual, group and family therapy
