“To be honest, I get a kick out of humanity–learning who a person is, their history, how they define it, learning what has worked for them, what has not worked, listening for strength/perseverance and then sharing my learning from training, working with others in the field and learning from those I have walked with in the past. It is an honor to hold space with you and call this work my profession.”

Victoria hopes you will find a warm, non-judgmental and inviting space where you will be heard, feedback offered, and where education and skills are shared. Her goal is to create a supportive environment where clients can explore their stories, identify strengths, learn new skills, and enhance resilience.

Victoria has practiced as a social worker since 1995 and specializes in assisting individuals with substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders (mental health and substance use), anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, and grief. Victoria’s approach is client-centered and incorporates various therapeutic modalities tailored to meet each client’s specific needs.

Victoria utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), strengths-based solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and trauma-focused therapy. She is trauma-informed and has received specialized training to support individuals within the LGBTQ+ community. Victoria provides both individual and group therapy sessions at the Pine Rest Retreat Clinic.
