Trina Crowe, LMSW, CAADC, CST
Trina Crowe is a Licensed Master Social Worker and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She received her graduate degree from Grand Valley State University in 2000. She joined Pine Rest in 2019 with over thirty years of experience as a social worker, and twenty years as an outpatient therapist. Trina is a narrative therapist. She also completed the Sexual Health Program through University of Michigan in 2013, becoming a Certified Sex Therapist in 2014.
Prior to joining Pine Rest, Trina worked for Ottawa County Community Mental Health for over fourteen years. During that time, she worked primarily with adults struggling with mental health problems such as bipolar, depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance use, co-occurring disorders, psychosis, and Schizophrenia. Values that inform Trina’s work include treating others with respect, supporting people in having the lives they want, and engaging clients to find creative ways of overcoming the problems they face. She believes that working with people in a collaborative way helps breathe fresh air into her work.
Trina’s other interests are reading mystery novels, riding bike, yoga, hiking, sewing, and painting. She is married and has three children and six grandchildren whom she enjoys very much!
