Tim is a limited licensed psychologist who has over 15 years of experience in a variety of mental health settings. Tim has been with Pine Rest since 2001, providing clinical assessments, counseling services and clinical supervision to staff members.
He earned his Master in Clinical Psychology in 1991 at the University of Detroit Mercy. Since that time he has provided counseling and psychological testing services for children, adolescents and adults. Tim has a history of successfully working with youth, specializing in common adolescent adjustment problems: depression, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). He also provides counseling for adults struggling with loss/grief, trauma and relationship issues.
Tim is a member of the Pine Rest Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Program treatment team, specializing in issues of borderline personality disorder and self harming behaviors. He has completed extensive continuing education in dialectical behavior therapy.
