Dr. Taylor McMillen is an adult neuropsychologist at the Pine Rest Psychological Consultation Center. Dr. McMillen earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh. She went on to complete a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from Carlow University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the St. Cloud VA in St. Cloud, Minnesota in Health Psychology, with a focus in neuropsychology. She moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2022 to complete her two-year postdoctoral fellowship specializing in adult clinical neuropsychology at Pine Rest.
Dr. McMillen’s clinical experience includes neuropsychological assessment of adults and older adults. She works with individuals with a wide range of neurocognitive disorders, including but not limited to differential diagnosis of dementia, brain injury, and a host of other medical/neurological conditions. She also conducts pre-surgical bariatric surgery assessments and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder evaluations. Dr. McMillen has also provided psychotherapy across a number of settings including intensive outpatient, community mental health, inpatient, and outpatient working with a variety of psychiatric diagnosis as well as substance use. She continues to see a small number of therapy patients in addition to her assessment practice.
