Susan specializes in child and play therapy, women’s health and wellness, and managing depression, anxiety and family-related issues. She employs a range of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play-based interventions for children, supportive and faith-based counseling, and holistic wellness approaches. Her goal is to provide practical tools and compassionate support that enable clients to achieve lasting positive change.
Susan Van Allsburg is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Michigan and holds a Certificate in Clinical Supervision. She joined Pine Rest in 2012 and has been active as a teacher and counselor since 1987. Susan earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Michigan State University.
