Sue works with individuals and families in therapy focusing on finding solutions, building strategies and strengthening tool kits, while equipping clients toward healing and wholeness.
Sue is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, narrative and solution focused therapy, infant mental health, and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMAD).
Sue earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Michigan State University in 1990, a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Central Michigan University, and post master’s work with University of Michigan’s Infant Mental Health Certification Program. Over the course of her career, Sue has provided outpatient, school and in-home services to people of all ages. She has also provided reflective supervision and training to staff, especially those who work with families who have young children, and specialized services for women with PMAD.
