“I believe people are not their problems. We all have to deal with stuff in life, and learning to deal with that stuff isn’t always about medical terms and diagnoses, but rather learning skills and new ways of problem solving. We are not our diagnosis; we are people trying to live life the best we can in an imperfect world. I try to bring a collaborative, person-focused, affirmative, strength-based style that is pragmatic and down to earth.
“In therapy, we will create a safe, supportive space in your life that allows you to find perspectives, empowers you to make changes, and enables you to ‘rewrite’ your life story for a future that reflects who you are, what you are capable of, and what your purpose is. The solutions we explore will be ones that make sense to you–not textbook techniques or prescriptions, but practical tools and solutions you can incorporate into your daily life.”
