“The most rewarding part of my work is helping clients feel more connected—to themselves, to others and to the world around them. I am deeply committed to walking alongside my clients, providing compassionate support and equipping them with tools to proactively address their mental health. My goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment where clients can explore their struggles, gain new insights and achieve lasting growth.”
Dr. Thomas is passionate about providing educational and therapeutic services that empower individuals to effectively address their concerns and develop healthy ways to move forward. In addition to working with anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment difficulties, and spiritual concerns, Dr. Thomas has a strong interest in mindfulness, meditation and self-compassion as tools for healing and personal growth.
Dr. Thomas has received specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a key intervention for treating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Additionally, he integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs.
Through sessions with Dr. Thomas, clients can expect to gain valuable insights into their thoughts and behaviors, develop effective coping strategies, and enhance relationship skills.
