“I believe that healing is possible, even in the face of deep-rooted pain and long-standing struggles. I was drawn to this work because I’ve seen how therapy can transform the way people understand themselves, their relationships and their past experiences. I’m passionate about helping clients break free from patterns that no longer serve them and move toward a more empowered and fulfilling life.”
Steve brings a grounded, empathetic presence to therapy, creating a space where clients feel safe to explore difficult emotions and past experiences. His approach is thoughtful and client-centered, tailored to support healing at the client’s own pace. Clients often describe working with Steve as a process of both deep insight and practical change, where safety, respect and collaboration are central.
Steve specializes in working with adults who have experienced developmental trauma, childhood abuse, or other longstanding emotional wounds. He uses evidence-based approaches such as schema therapy and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to address trauma, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, and relationship difficulties. His work is informed by a deep understanding of how early life experiences can shape emotional and behavioral patterns. Steve’s clients can expect to gain insight into their emotional responses, reprocess painful memories in a safe and structured way, and learn tools to manage symptoms and improve their relationships. His sessions often focus on increasing self-understanding, developing healthier coping strategies and creating meaningful personal change.
