Stephen Kornoely is a Bilingual (Spanish), Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the Pine Rest Northwest Clinic. Stephen earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Spanish from Aquinas College, and his Master in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University.

Stephen is a part of the Pine Rest Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Program treatment team, which specializes in issues of Borderline Personality Disorder, self-harming behaviors, and chronic suicide ideation. He is also a part of the Telehealth team, being able to provide virtual therapy services across Michigan. His professional experience includes providing home-based therapy for children and families, as well as trauma assessments and therapy for refugee youth.  While at Michigan State University, Stephen completed a certificate program in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  Stephen also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems Therapy in his approaches.

Some of Stephen’s interest areas include: Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Marriage/Couple/Family conflicts, Stress, Grief and Loss, and Anger Management.

Stephen Kornoely participates in the Diversity Collective.
