Sherry is a Licensed Masters level Social Worker servicing all age groups, but specializing in children and adolescents. She received her Bachelors degree from Calvin College and her Masters from the University of Michigan. She has extensive experience working with victims of child sexual abuse and minority populations. Sherry has experience working in a variety of settings including home-based, school social work and outpatient therapy. She enjoys working with children and families experiencing anxiety, depression and mood disorders, school issues, adjustment disorder, trauma recovery, parenting, ADHD, and grief/loss.
Sherry participates with Faith Community Outreach, an initiative within Pine Rest that seeks to connect area clergy, churches, and ministries to services available from Pine Rest, as well as develop new services specifically designed to benefit the faith community.
