Dr. Drabek is a licensed psychologist who has treated and assessed infants, toddlers, children, adolescents, young adults, and older adults via numerous sites including private practice, hospital, and school settings. Dr. Drabek graduated with honors from Mercer University in Georgia and received a Bachelor of Science in psychology with minors in chemistry and biology. She then continued her education and training through the same university, where she was awarded a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in clinical psychology. Dr. Drabek completed her one-year pre-doctoral residency through Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services. She then fulfilled her academic training by successfully defending her doctoral dissertation entitled: “Parental Coping in Children Recently Diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder: A Stellar Intervention.”
Dr. Drabek added proficiency in treating behavioral concerns during her years spent as a registered behavior technician, delivering applied behavior analysis services to individuals aged 2-17. Dr. Drabek has a passion for the treatment, assessment, and diagnosis of individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities, attention-deficit disorders, behavioral challenges, and learning disabilities. Her experience, though, covers a wide range of clinical presentations, including anxiety, depression, personality disorders, severe and persistent mental illnesses, and family, parent, and child issues.
Dr. Drabek recognizes the importance in examining all layers of individuals and their environments so that tailored and personalized conceptualizations can be provided. Dr. Drabek conducts psychological assessments (autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, learning disability/learning disorder, and diagnostic clarification).
