Dr. Drabek creates a warm, collaborative environment for her clients to ensure they feel heard, respected and supported. She takes a thoughtful and structured approach to assessment and therapy, collaborating closely with individuals and families to identify strengths, tackle challenges and develop meaningful ways to move forward.
Dr. Drabek conducts comprehensive clinical and forensic psychological evaluations addressing a wide range of diagnostic and referral concerns. Her assessments are tailored to evaluate diverse presentations, including neurodevelopmental conditions, emotional and behavioral functioning, and risk-related factors across outpatient and forensic contexts. She also maintains a small therapy caseload, utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral activation (BA), and mindfulness-informed techniques to help empower individuals to understand themselves better and respond more effectively to challenges.
Dr. Drabek aims to gain a deeper understanding of those that she cares for through a thoughtful and extensive assessment and treatment process. She works diligently to arrive at an accurate diagnosis, recognizing how meaningful clarity can be for individuals and families. She is committed to ensuring individuals receive feedback that is clear, timely, concise and thorough, while helping them feel seen, validated and informed. Whether identifying the next steps for therapy, psychiatry, academic support, or broader life decisions, Dr. Drabek’s goal is to set up each person with a clear path forward and the tools needed for ongoing growth and support.
Dr. Drabek is a licensed psychologist and assistant training director for the APA-accredited Psychology Doctoral Internship Program, a member of the Forensic Psychiatric and Psychological Services team, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry through Michigan State University. Dr. Drabek has been with Pine Rest since 2019. She earned her undergraduate and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from Mercer University (Georgia).
