Shannon Drabek, PsyD, Doctoral Limited Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Drabek is a clinical psychologist who earned her undergraduate and doctoral degree at Mercer University.
Dr. Drabek received training in assessment and psychotherapy via various private practice, hospital and residential settings. She helped assess and treat a broad range of mental health diagnoses in individuals across the lifespan. During her time spent in these locations, she focused her work primarily on the pediatric population, with main presenting diagnoses of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disability, conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, anxiety, and depression.
Dr. Drabek ultimately completed her doctoral dissertation entitled, “Parental Coping in Children Recently Diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder: A Stellar Intervention.” She added proficiency in directly implementing and treating behavioral issues during her time spent as a credentialed registered behavior technician. Shannon operates heavily from a family systems approach and pulls from play, cognitive and behavioral theories.
Dr. Drabek provides therapy via the Southwest Clinic and she is currently conducting attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and diagnostic/personality evaluations through the Psychological Consultation Center.
