I applaud you in taking a step toward well-being and your mental health. Understanding you, and the differences that make you who you are, is something I take pride in.

Diversity is an important part of my own life. I was raised in a Filipina-Jamaican-Indian household in England. I am a child of immigrants and became an immigrant myself. I am also a first-generation college graduate.

My own diversity has impacted how I work with my patients. I strive to be aware of culture and diversity and foster an environment of affirmation and acceptance. I provide in-office, culturally sensitive, psychological assessments. I aim to be mindful of cultural nuances, as well as of my own biases, attitudes, assumptions, language effects and how these can impact the assessment process.
