Sarah D. Hewson, LLMSW
Sarah holds a Limited License Masters of Social Work having completed both her undergraduate training and Masters of Social Work degree at Indiana University. She gained valuable experience in the community mental healthcare setting prior to joining Pine Rest Northwest Clinic.
Sarah’s approach is client-centered in a safe, non-judgmental environment. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with its broad application to diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, and other diagnoses, as well as motivational interviewing as a means of assisting clients with the process of change.
Ms. Hewson provides clinical work related to survivors of trauma and abuse, women’s issues, depression and anxiety, loss and bereavement, faith issues, and substance abuse. Sarah specializes in adult clients, ages 18 and older.
